Hike-in bluff top camp featuring an outfitted outdoor bed with a clear roof, screens and rain fly. Nestled along the edge of the bluff offering east facing 270 degree valley view. Great for a romantic getaway! Beautiful fire pit and seating area with table and 4 chairs. Outfitted queen bed for 2. There is space to put up 1 tent if there are additional people in your party who wish to bring their own gear (up to 4 guests total at this site). Linens for bed, 2 sleeping bags, 2 pillows and towels for 2 guests included. Firewood included. This site is great for people who like to get some exercise and want to immerse themselves in a woodland setting.
IMPORTANT - This site requires a 1460 ft hike with a 230 ft elevation gain. The hike to the campsite is uphill along the bluff and requires a significant amount of physical effort, the campsites are designed to provide a backpacking experience, please pack light, carts do not work with the gravel and rocks on the path, everything must be carried to the site. Please consider your physical abilities and your willingness to pack light when you decide to book! Your host is happy to answer any questions and help with planning your trip.

There is a gas station (bait and fishing supplies, convenience store items), 2 bars and a restaurant within a mile in the town of Elba.

From Elba (Hwy 74, AKA Main Street) - turn onto West Center Street, which heads up hill. There is an autobody shop on your right soon after your turn, then the St. Aloyisious cemetery also on the right. Aefintry is next on your left. Watch for the sign.
Coming from the East (heading west) on Winona Country Hwy 26 (AKA Co Hwy 25 in Olmsted County) you will pass several farms/homesteads, watch for the Aefintyr sign on your right after you begin to drop into the valley.
